How to prepare the house for a remodel
A calm house is easier to build in. Here is what actually helps before the first day on site.
Clear the rooms that will change. Pack what you can live without for a season, and leave a path for materials. We protect floors and openings; you should not have to live around a storage unit in the hallway.
Decide who will answer questions during the day. Selections stall jobs more often than weather. If a tile, paint, or fixture is still open, we will say so in the scope rather than guess on site.
Plan for dust, parking, and a working bathroom. On a kitchen, that may mean a temporary cook setup. On an addition, it may mean a door that stays usable. We will walk this with you before we start.
